April 27 Who is the oldest on this sexiest woman list?I am a firm believer of the older woman can be hot and sexy too, equally so to the younger one.
So who is the oldest on this list? April 24 Makeovers for your golf clubs for under $25-10 ways
This is the time of year when hope springs eternal that our golf game will take a magic turn for the better. I realize now that too often I've not given proper attention to my equipment, my clubs particularly, plus of course shoes. This is the base element to your game and it needs to be solid. Only then can you work on the perfectly repeatable swing and smooth putting stroke and so on. A book, "The Search For The Perfect Golf Club" happened to be leaving my library which is searchable for by keyword in the title such as Golf. I've linked to a new copy at Amazon.com here but you can search for it almost anywhere. As I always do with every book leaving home, with a small tear in my eye and a lump in my throat, I took a quick glance at it. The Chapter 12, "10 Things You Can Do For Your Equipment" for $25 or less each caught my attention. The 10 are: 1. How to properly clean and polish your clubs 2. How to revitalize your grips 3.How to find the sweet spot on your driver and putter 4. How to calculate the right length for your clubs 5. How to estimate your swing speed 6. How to determine the angle of attack of your swing 7. How to identify the most stable roll and flight of a golf ball 8. How to find the correct swing weight for your clubs 9. How to repaint the engravings on your club head 10 How to straighten a bent steel shaft I'd recommend picking up the book just for this chapter alone. However, it's also 290 pages of excellent reading for anyone serious about improving their game and having the right equipment for them. I'm not saying the most expensive equipment in any way necessarily, I just want to make clear. We wouldn't want to send our troops to battle with guns that don't shoot. In the same way, we need to use equipment that gives us the best incremental stroke improvement return on dollars spent. That doesn't always mean the most expensive of items. For many of us, our best investment is in maintenance of our existing equipment, a few good lessons with a great teacher and a book or a dvd to help us with the mental side of the game. I know this book can help your game and I hope you enjoy your summer of golf more this year. BR/RGNetwork April 17 Free Newsletter and Book recommendationA recent post on another of my sites, Best of Mexico, suggested that Mexican developers will have great opportunity to provide comfortable living options for all demographics, but reminded us that many are very discerning purchasers. Mexican retirement is still well within the means for many if they make wise purchasing decisions. I know that even the wealthy will not want to make poor financial and lifestyle decisions for their active retirement. For that, you and I need the advice and experience of people who are actually living in Mexico for most of the year. One person I can recommend today is Barbie Parks. I've read her free newsletter for many months now and it always contains new and updated information that I can pass on to others. I would say that even if we weren't a marketing partner of hers. Her book, Retire in Luxury is an excellent resource to have and its just been recently revised and updated and its at a price that is still very reasonable considering the types of decisions you need help with and the money we will be investing or spending over the years in the country. You can download it immediately. You can click the book title to see more information on the book, or just click the banner below. If you have any questions about Mexico and particularly the Puerto Vallarta area, I'd be glad to answer them for you. A new feature for our sites. Just send me an Ask Bob email or add a comment here. Barbie Parks is in Mazatlan and I know would be willing to tell you much more about that area. It feels good even missin' yaIt was a great night to hear Tom Cochrane perform recently. See my earlier post about the Cochrane/Cougar-Mellencamp double bill. He introduced this song with reference to Lac du Bonnet and Lee River in the summer for him and a special person in his life at that time. This is an area I've spent many a summer day on the way to the lake. Here are the lyrics, I just noticed I had on my computer. When we think back to the times when love was strong, it does feel good as Cochrane says and sings, no matter the state of your relationship right now. That, I think, is timeless love. A feeling that transcends your day-to-day relationship. Discover more of Cochrane, I suggest. "Will you love me forever"-now who sang that? Love Hard-Live Brave! (with credit for part of the phrase to a recent Eli Stone show, rapidly become a favorite of mine) Have a great day! Is there a new style to marketing?. Certainly there are new means to find and communicate with those who might use or be interested in your product or service. Obviously a lot of this is happening offline. An email promoting an online marketing system said there was. What I liked most was the recap in a few points of what we need to achieve in the process of marketing, or more simply stated, make the sale. We have to understand why people might make a decision. It's starts with pain, problems or needs on their behalf, real or perceived, and we must show how we can provide a solution to that problem. Try to spot these things as you look at other successful marketers or companies, both online and offline. Note this list was developed for an online campaign in a Web 2.0 world of social networking. Much of it applies to offline marketing or an online/offline mix as well.
It's a good list to keep handy when designing or reviewing your campaign. Have a great day! BR (At the Rempel Group and our RG Publishing Network we're attempting to implement the solutions to the pain/problem/need research at new sites with free information and downloads. An added benefit for visitors will be a free support and research service. Here's a link to a list of some of our most recent new sites-new and most popular RG Network research and resource sites. Mexico is a big part of our future plans, personally and business wise. Our Mexico info blog continues to be our most popular site. We're proud to say that beta testing has started, or will start soon, with several new Mexico related domains, with Best of Mexico resources and info being first to come online.) April 10 I Need A Coach To Get To The Top....Do You?At the same time as I've come to the conclusion that I need to model two or three successful people to reach my personal goals in the shortest possible time, this email came in today promoting a coaching or mentoring program. It's worth repeating I thought. I've accepted finally for myself that modelling could also be in the form of direct or indirect personal coaching, not just watching from afar or up close. This is quite tough to accept for someone, middle age, with an ego, who has "been there...done that" in his life. I have someone in mind to start and I'm promising myself today to make the contact. I'll let you know. See the full post at my personal retirement income self coaching site shared with all Have a great day! BR (RG Network's I Go To Concerts recently updated. New site as of April 9: World Hockey) April 09 The Living Years lyrics....thinking of my fatherI was away when my father passed away and this song never fails to tear me up. I bought the tape a few days ago. (See my earlier post about how I stumbled upon Paul Garrack and Mike and the Mechanics on HD Net the other day and where that took me.) It was not a bad relationship, it was just not a family where we said I love you too often especially when I was younger. That changed when I had my own children, and the song refers to how that changes our perspective on everything. I wish I had said more to my father though before it was too late. And perhaps, he to me. My advice: don't wait if you feel it. The Living Years, by Mike and the Mechanics Every generation April 07 Why did they want these, he asks pensively? As I've noted before, my collection of books, movies and music (except for the highly prized pass on to my children items) is available for purchase. Each day that a few are purchased I keep asking myself the same questions. What does the person buying this item want this one for? A great little mind game. What can I quickly learn from the book, (using the learn from those who might know more than I method I outlined in a previous post-NLP-modelling)? Should I keep this item after all? Here's what is going out of the door today: Learn Country Line Dancin'-2 tape vhs The Child from the Sea, by Elizabeth Goudge, (historical novel) 7-Day Detox Miracle, Peter Bennett and Stephen Barrie, non fiction book-naturopathic approach to healthier body and mind Ice by Anna Kavan-"surrealistic dream novel set in an unrecognizable world padded by ice and snow, run by a secret government, invaded by aggressors, and threatened with nuclear destruction."-from the back cover. Oops at first I thought it was about Canada. On that note we drove 2 hours south of here a few days ago and just as I had jokingly told my family, there was at least 90% less snow in the city than in my city and about 75% less in the rural areas. That marked a difference fascinates me enough to want to find some explanations. My Thursday and Friday was spent at the Democratic convention in Grand Forks North Dakota as a visitor and at the World Curling Championships. My focus, as a result, upon return, has been on working on launching our World Curling news and products site and fine tuning our Daily Political News "Daily Pol" site. As well our Olympic Games Olympic Stars site needed further work I discovered. That was Sunday. Today I want to begin development of a site on Neuro Linguistic Programming and Looking Your Age-Acting Your Age-the good the bad...for those in mid life. Have a great day! B April 06 Paul Carrack-Musical Connections I Should Have Known EarlierHow do forces converge sometimes or is it just the fact our eyes are opened and we have a better focus. First it was running across a Mike and the Mechanics + Paul Carrack special on HDNet, while checking out their fabulous concert specials on Sunday nights, about a week ago. At the time I tuned in Paul (I assumed it was him) was singing a song that I assumed was called One Good Reason. And then on Thursday afternoon while browsing the music at a thrift shop which has become of my book and music collection routine, I saw Paul Carrack and One Good Reason from 1987 in cassette. But the tipping point was a little more research on Paul Carrack after listening to the first side of the cassette: One Good Reason, When You Walk in the Room, Button Off, My Shirt, Give Me A Chance, and Double It Up. And here I discovered connections to bands and performers that would make my RG Network I Go To Concerts site lists for performances I have to see. Ace, Squeeze, Mike and the Mechanics, Nick Lowe (and Dave Edmunds) definitely, and The Eagles (Paul co-wrote) Love Will Keep Us Alive). In The Living Years by the Mechanics is a song that could get included in almost anyone's last wishes play list, me included. And on that note, about my performances that are must sees, I just heard that Savoy Brown will be in my area this summer, with Kim Simmonds playing lead guitar and doing lead vocals now. I'm Tired is one of my all time favorite songs. "You've got the blues, not me." And now I'm off to the second side of One Good Reason. A fabulous morning when you can create some connections that matter to you. Have a great day BR April 03 So What Is A Better Life...Mommy/Daddy/Buddy?
A makeover of the domain and the sites is in order, to address all possible causes, and we've already begun. The Guideto.info domain will become "Your Guide To A Better Life" with various prescriptions and directions by itself and to our other resource sites we specialize in. All other sites will be reviewed, with some purging and some new ones. It's my little 30 day challenge as publisher/editor. Make this domain a fully functioning part of the network, not some weak "brother". But now I'm stuck. What is a Better Life? So I'm off for a couple of days to see Grand Forks North Dakota at its busiest with Obama and Hilary Clinton in the city on the 4th, and the World Curling Championships and associated partying beginning on the 4th, with games starting on the 5th. And it's for business, I'll tell my accountant we do have a Political News site and a Curling Product News site. By the end of the little junket, I'll hopefully have some thoughts on the "A Better Life"...money, travel, job, homes, love, family, hobbies, beauty, education, life in balance..... The domain does have some solid results already with our Climate Change site particularly. The Test Prep, Excellence in Public Relations, Daily Brief and Clean Water sites also do fairly well. |
